German sneakerheads were treated to a very special exhibition at the Allike store in Hamburg over the weekend, with some of the rarest and most important athletic shoes of all time put on display. The sneakers were loaned by local collectors and wall-mounted, with key information and release dates posted alongside them, just like the pieces of art they truly are. There were a stack of Nike SB Dunks; hot adidas, New Balance and ASICS colabs (including our Alvin Purples); and even a pair of the Air Jordan 4 Eminems! We think the best pics came from the crowd though, they knew this event was all about the heat and they repped some scorching sneaks. Peep the gallery above to see how it all went down. The third subject in Bugatti’s limited edition Legends line is Meo Constantini, a Bugatti racing driver and manager who led the team from 1927 to 1935. Inspired by the Type 35, the Grand Sport Vitesse is painted in “Bugatti Dark Blue Sport” and has front bumpers in raw aluminum that are hand polished and coated with a clear lacquer, a finish that currently only exists on this car. The interior is swathed in a cognac-colored “Gaucho” leather with blue leather trim and blue clear-coated carbon fiber. Various moments from Meo Constantini’s racing career are also laser etched onto the leather trim of the door and the headrests feature Meo’s signature.
Justin Timberlake sent Jordan heads into disarray when he exclusively previewed the raunchy red Air Jordan 3 during his ‘Legends of the Summer’ tour. Speculation quickly arose of a possible Yeezy connection, with sneaker sleuths suspecting a possible October launch. Rocking red suede through the upper, this jewel J packs a strong material punch, including patent leather, faux snakeskin and Safari print embellishes throughout its all-red construction. With no ‘solid’ information just yet regarding an impending release, keep those dials tuned to SF as we bring you more of the story as it unfolds. Image via Sneakers Addict.
