The Dutch denim experts over at Tenue de Nîmes have concocted quite the selection of footwear for their Spring/Summer collection. The Amsterdam-based label took to London and teamed up with celebrated English shoemaker Trickers on three styles that will be exclusively available in-store and online.
The first shoe in the collection is Tenue’s take on the Trickers Burton country shoe which is a hefty brogue done up in blue leather with a Dainite rubber sole. They’ve also created two boot styles: a heavy brogue boot and a Stow boot that comes in all-black leather or an tan cognac with a blue Commando sole.
The shoes start at €519 (Approx $ 588) and are available now at tenuedenimes.com.
Travelteq and denim experts Tenues de Nimes launch their limited edition collaboration, two bags crafted in Travelteq’s signature leather and a Japanese selvage denim selected by Tenues. Only 30 pieces of each style have been made so you definitely won’t be seeing too many of these around.
The beautiful tan leather is sourced from Travelteq’s factory in Tuscany, Italy which achieves its deep tan color from a vegetable tanning process. The bag features adequate room for all your documents, laptops, and even has a dedicated compartment for a cigar.
After a visit to Kojima, Japan earlier this year Tenue de Nîmes explored the possibility of dip-dying leather shoes in indigo. The end result is a blue version of Red Wing’s iconic workboot which started as a rough-out leather model and is then dipped in a mix of natural and artificial indigo to achieve the rich blue color.
Tenue de Nîmes and LA-based jean maker Rogue Territory celebrate a denim icon, Wrangler. Made from a burly 14oz broken-twill which is a denim weave originally developed by Wrangler. The bright blue jeans are lined with hickory-striped 10oz denim twill and is limited to just 50 pieces. $ 286, Tenue de Nîmes
