Brooks Heritage’s latest collaboration features a Pacific Ocean-inspired Chariot.  They partnered with Tokyo-based retailer, atmos, for the project.  With the Pacific Ocean being the body of water that separates atmos in Japan, and Brooks in Washington, it made sense for that to be the primary inspiration for the shoe.  The shoe will release in limited quantities on February 14th at atmos, with a female version of the shoe releasing at Mila Owen.  A global release will take place on February 28th.  You can currently pre-order the shoe here.

Porn Star, Mia Khalifa, wears SNEAKHYPE shirt in Newsweek article

mia-khalifa-sneakhype-newsweekBorn in Lebanon and living in Miami, 21 year-old Mia Khalifa has amassed extraordinary popularity and success in the mere 100 days she’s been working in the adult film industry.

The key to her success is quite obvious: she’s a frikkin’ bombshell.  In fact, before social feeds everywhere were set ablaze with all-things-Mia, I published an article on October 23rd of last year making the contention that Mia is “The Hottest Girl on the Internet“.

Since then, Mia Khalifa has risen to become the #1 most searched porn star on PornHub.com.  Even as I type these words, Mia is a top story on NBCnews.com, Newsweek.com, and is on the front page of Reddit.  Why?  Well, we’ve already established the fact that she’s smokin’ hot, but mainstream media outlets are keen on highlighting the controversy sparking in her home country of Lebanon.

Any person who makes the difficult decision to appear in an adult films must face the societal stigma attached to the industry.  (Praise be to Allah that Mia made the decision to gift her glorious videos to the world.)  However, the stigma that exists in American culture pales in comparison to the hyper-conservative beliefs inherent to the Middle East.

Several simple-minded douchebag/asshole/idiots from around the world have slandered Mia via social media to a degree not even worth repeating.  Needless to say, Mia’s rise to global stardom and success has been somewhat bittersweet.  Nevermind that shit, though.  We at SNEAKHYPE are 100% behind Mia (doggy-style pun intended).

And for every jackass giving Mia grief, there are 1000 progressive minds defending her liberties and applauding her fearlessness in the face of such adversity.  Newsweek quotes a British-Lebanese author, Nasri Atallah:

The moral indignation about Mia Khalifa, presumably the first Lebanese porn star, is wrong for two reasons.  First and foremost, as a woman, she is free to do as she pleases with her body. Secondly, as a sentient human being with agency, who lives halfway across the world, she is in charge of her own life and owes absolutely nothing to the country where she happened to be born. There is this odd perception that being Lebanese is a vocation and a duty first and that your personal life comes second.

Amen brother!

But really people, the major headline here is this: Mia’s wearing a f*ckin’ SNEAKHYPE shirt in her Newsweek article, and we happen to think that’s pretty badass.  After all, it’s Sneakhype’s first appearance in a publication of such prestige… and it came on the chest of the web’s most popular porn star (money-shot pun intended).  We wouldn’t have it any other way…
