Steven Alan Field Watch

For his newest timepiece, Steven Alan looks to the classic standard issue field watch designs with his own interpretation on the popular style. Clean and uncluttered the dial takes a more casual approach than traditional field watch layouts, but maintains the overall aesthetic with a large case and a NATO strap.

The 46mm case is made from a sandblasted stainless steel or IP black-plated steel and comes in four dial colorways: navy (above), black, green, and white. Other features include a sapphire crystal,  glowing SuperLuminova hour makers, and an automatic Japanese movement.

Apolis x Steven Alan Chore Jacket

For the first time since Steven Alan became Apolis’ first NY retailer, the two brands are releasing their first collaborative piece, a special new colorway of the popular Apolis Indigo Wool Chore Jacket.

Now available in black indigo wool, the 13.5oz fabric is woven exclusively for Apolis in Italy and features buttons made from fallen buffalo horn and antique nickel rivets. Limited to 250 pieces, Apolis used a local LA dye house and overdyed the jacket in black to achieve the inky colorway.

Another Reebok Pump Fury colab is coming – no surprises there, we’ve seen dozens this year in celebration of the silhouette’s 20th anniversary – this time it’s from a a slightly unexpected source. The Bok look outside the sneaker world here, enlisting New York based designer Steven Alan to put his touch on the Pump Fury. Alan and his minions stuck to black and white for this and the blocking and materials are on-point. We can see this working with some Derelicte monochrome outfits. The collaboration launches globally on August 16th.

From their limited edition Atlantic-Pacific collection, Steven Alan releases a sunglass influenced by New York and Tokyo. The retromodern Newport aviator mixes a cellulose acetate frame and titanium nose pads that will never wear out.

The acetate is sourced from Northern Italy and comes in your choice of Tortoise, Dark Tortoise, and Cream. Each frame also comes with polarized lenses to reduce glare and at $ 145 a pop that’s quite a deal for a premium and limited edition pair of shades.

Steven Alan Andre Sunglasses

Steven Alan’s newest pair of sunglasses is a little different than what we’re used to seeing from the expert shirtmaker. Shorter and and rectangular, the frames have a slight scowl, especially with the eyebrow-like details at the top of the frame.

The frames are made from cellulose acetate sourced from Northern Italy, five barrel rose gold plated hinges, a gingham-lined carrying case, and it might be a shorter style, but at 59mm its a wider fit to give it that imposing presence.
